Full Moon and Partial Lunar Eclipse
An enthusiastic crowd of neighbors and Friends of Terwilliger gathered Thursday, August 27th to view the full moon and partial eclipse from Walpole Garden and labyrinth.
Around 8:12 PM we noticed the full moon rising above the clouds and cascade mountains to the east, just south of Mt Hood. As the full moon rose, the partial eclipse began to hid more of the moon, and turning it light orange in color. Please see the photos here of the moon and labyrinth with tea lights.
Remember, the Walpole is open and part of our public, linear, and historic Terwilliger Parkway.
Please come and enjoy anytime.
