Walpole Garden Lunar Eclipse and Labyrinth Walk
Save the Date for the Walpole Garden Labyrinth Walk during August 27 Moonrise lunar eclipse.
Event Details
The August 27th moonrise will be special with a lunar eclipse beginning just at moonrise. The full moon will rise above the old Cascades just south of Mt Hood around 7:59 PM and as it rises, the shadow of the earth will progress to a near total eclipse at 9:12 PM. The shadow will recede over the next hour.
Friends of Terwilliger is holding a Walpole Garden labyrinth walk during this eclipse from 7:30-10:00 PM. The labyrinth provides a great view of this part of the eastern sky.

The Walpole Garden is a public park within Historic Terwilliger Parkway. Parking available along SW Hamilton Terrace.
