Eagle Point Volunteers Clean UP

Eagle Point, the area of Terwilliger Parkway with spectacular views of the mountains to the east and the Willamette River, got a welcome clean up in July.

We usually don’t schedule restoration work parties in the summer months, but with the July hot and dry weather anticipated, we needed to clean up woody debris to reduce the risk of wild fires. So a small group of dedicated volunteers, seen here, muscled those limbs and removed some other invasive plants. Viola!
