Goodbye to our Favorite Portland Parks & Rec Employees
Sadly, we had to say goodbye to 2 of our favorite Portland Parks & Recreation (PP&R) employees last month.
Charlie Nappi
Charlie Nappi, PP&R technician, was our fearless and friendly Portland Parks and Rec (PP&R) employee who led our monthly work parties. He spent close to 15 years of his early PP&R tenure with us. We are so happy he recently received a promotion and an ideal position leading PP&R’s “Protect the Best” program. We will still miss him and of course, wish him the best. He’s promised to come back and volunteer with us. We’ll remember this promise, Charlie!
__ Mary Verrilli, Westside Stewardship Coordinator, did all the behind the scenes work to help us advertise, outfit, and sometimes lead our monthly work parties. Mary moved out of state to be closer to family and we wish her success in her future endeavors.
