Historic Terwilliger Parkway included in KAYAK’s Portland Oregon Travel Guide
Friends of Terwilliger is partnering with KAYAK’s Portland Oregon Travel Guide to have Historic Terwilliger Parkway included in it’s suggested destinations for Portland Visitors.
Terwilliger Parkway’s many attractions include its hillside forested areas for running and cycling and views of the Willamette Valley and Cascade Mountains. The Parkway includes Duniway Park with a recently renovated running track, a Lilac Garden, Elk Point complete with a totem pole erected in 1959, and access to other parks’ trails such as Marquam Nature Park.
New attractions include the Eagle Point Nature Patch and the Walpole Garden and its new stone labyrinth with great views (see below).
