A Look Back at 2023 and Our Restoration Efforts
2023 is now in the rear-view mirror and it’s time to congratulate ourselves for our restoration accomplishments.
In 2023 Friends of Terwilliger hosted or co-hosted over 40 restoration work parties ridding our historic park of invasive plants, clearing and saving our wonderful and much-loved trees from that invasive ivy, and planting native plants that support habitat and food for our native critters. Over 500 volunteers contributed over 3400 volunteer hours. Scout and cub scout troops, Lewis & Clark Students, OSHU employees, business co-workers, neighbors, and everyone who loves and enjoys Terwilliger Parkway joined us! Yeah!! We couldn’t have done it without all of you!
