Friends of Terwilliger’s 2024 Stats
2024 was a successful year. Hundreds of Terwilliger Parkway volunteers engaged in restoration and advocacy. From our forested linear parkway, to open viewpoints such as the newly created Walpole Garden, to our one-of-a-kind public Duniway track and lilac garden. We couldn’t have done it without you!!
Our January 2025 Volunteers
Here’s our numbers:
- Hosted 37 restoration events
- Clocked almost 4,000 volunteers hours
- Saved 176 trees
- Planted over 3400 native plants
- Cleared over 1 acre of ivy-infested parkland
- Engaged over 350 volunteers
In addition to individual volunteers, we had groups from Lewis & Clark College, Post 38, Parkway neighbors, and volunteers from the Portland Metro area.
