Full Moon Viewing: What a Night!
Thanks to all the folks who arrived at the Walpole Garden and the labyrinth to take in the full moon viewing Sunday night. We weren’t disappointed! And thanks to Ben Gilliam for capturing this intro photo of the moon and Mt Hood along with our aerial utility wires. aka: the wild and not so wild?
Throughout the evening, as the moon arose in the eastern sky and behind Mt Hood, Friends of Terwilliger (FOT) were so happy to welcome about 50 people; some having never been to this spot before.
Bob Bonner, FOT board treasurer and architect of this wonderful area, dressed the labyrinth in candles and flute music. Many thanks to Steve Pixley with Portland Parks, for bringing cookies and hot chocolate. Yumm.
